Walter Szrek
Partner and Chief Technologist
Together with Irena Szrek, Walter founded Szrek2Solutions in 2003. He was widely admired for pioneering lottery solutions that transformed the industry. He co-authored several patents related to transparent methods in random number generation and transaction security, applying them to develop RNG technology with fraud detection. Together with Chris Olsen and Irena Szrek, Walter architected and co-designed the Szrek2Solutions Trusted Suite of Products and played a key role in deploying these products. Walter also provided his technical expertise in gaming and secure transaction systems architecture, consulting for major industry vendors. In 2022, Walter retired, though remained deeply committed to supporting Szrek2Solutions through various projects, mentoring staff, and engaging with clients.
Walter’s legacy will be carried on by the Szrek2Solutions team with the same exemplary enthusiasm, commitment, and dedication that Walter always put into everything he did.
